Beginners Course – Starts 12th September 2011

Period: 4 week course Mon 6:30 – 7:30pm, starting 12/09/2011 ending 3/10/2011.

Fee: £30

Brief: This beginners course is an introduction which covers the basics of Aikido, and acts as a stepping stone into the normal classes. The course is limited to 20 places and it will be held in our Nottingham dojo in Lenton. The class will be taken at a very gentle pace, and therefore suitable for all ages. It is designed that by the end of the course everyone would be able to join the regular classes.

This is ideal for anyone who is interested in Aikido, or any martial arts who would like to experience what it is all about without making a big commitment.

Self Defence Course – Starts 20th January 2011

Period : 5 week Course Thu 6:30 – 7:30pm, Starting 13/1/2011 ending 10/2/2011

Fee: £40

Brief : This is an introductory self defence course using Aikido concepts. Yoshinkan Aikido is often called the hard style for it’s more practical use of the applications and because of this effectiveness it is still used by the Japanese Riot Police today.

This course takes principles of Yoshinkan Aikido and puts them into practice to show how you can defend yourself on the streets in a controlled manner. It will take place at our Nottingham Dojo in Lenton for the limited number of 20 people.
