Weekly Bulletin 17th September 2018

Hello Everyone.

I hope you are all well. It was so good to see so many new faces in the dojo last week. The dojo is really hotting up with juniors league matches and adult grading coming up. So if you haven’t been to the dojo lately, come down and join us!

Here is what is coming up this week.

NEW CLASSES SCHEDULE FROM END of SEPTEMBER

We are looking to add a couple of new classes at the end of September, after a little promo time. These classes will be run by our comeback kid “Sensei Rowan” as a new vibrant class. Please let him know of your interest as it will be his first own classes for him to run going forward. So please give him a big support and hard training!

  • Tuedays : 7:00pm – 8:00 pm @ Lenton Dojo ( Junior High Grade / Adults mixed class : Open to all juniors from High Grade to Adults )
  • Wednesdays : 6:00pm – 7:00pm @ Nottingham Dojo ( All Junior Class : Open to all juniors of all levels )
  • We are aiming to start on the 25th and 26th September onwards. So please let me know your interest.

    SENIOR GRADING IN SEPTEMBER

    The senior grading is approaching again soon. On the last week of Thursday 27th September is the Senior grading at Derby Dojo. We have roughly a month away to the grading, so if you are thinking of grading please start to get yourself ready for the big day. As per usual all the classes will be test practice for the last 2 weeks running up to the grading date. But its never too early to start prepping and start your practice with your partners.

    JUNIOR BADGE TEST MONTH

    The junior badge test month is back. Everyone junior class will have an opportunity to challenge for your Aikido skills of your choice. Make sure you practice and choose your badges wisely, as badge test is not easy, and failing the test is part of learning and make it better. Keep trying every week, and you may achieve the badge of your dreams!

    JUNIOR JIYUWAZA LEAGUE COMPETITION IS BACK!

    The junior jiyuwaza competition for the high grades juniors are back. Its another month of matching up with everyone in the class and competing to be the best after a month long gruelling competition. The 3 stars ( Gold, Silver and Purple ) are up for grabs and also it will affect your overall ranking in the dojo too. So don’t miss any classes guys!!
