Good afternoon Aikido Shoshinkan family,
Just a few hours ago I landed from a week long seminar in Poland with 8th Dan Joe Thambu Shihan. The week was a truly great experience with wonderful hospitality from Sensei Pawel and his dojo, all of whom I can’t thank enough. This was an amazing opportunity to train aikido with some really talented people, but also to learn from them and also see another country at the same time! Fellow Shoshinkan students; Vas & Bart, also took part in this event and you should ask any one of us about our experiences as we’d love to share it with you! Further similar opportunities will become available in the future as our relationship with Poland grows, so do not miss out!

EXTRA JUNIOR ADVANCED CLASSES – THIS WEEK!
On the following dates, we will be trialing an additional advanced class for the juniors who are green belt and above. Please let us know if you would like to attend this class.

These advanced classes are an important aspect of the juniors progression from junior aikido and junior classes, to eventual adult aikido and adult classes. They provide an extra challenge for the higher graded juniors and prepare them for an adult experience of the martial art of aikido.
